Key Challenge

Snapping Shoals EMC wants to encourage paperless billing for members. Targeting those members who have not yet signed up, SSEMC used an email campaign with incentive (drawing for $50 bill credit) to encourage enrollment. Results of the campaign were easily measured.

Result

According to SSEMC, each paper bill costs $.66 for printing and postage. From the single campaign, 2,893 members enrolled in paperless billing, saving SSEMC nearly $23,000 annually.
